HSE Captn Smith - Hans C Smith - an expert in HSE (Hope - Soul - EnCourage / Health, Safety & Environment) - Quality, Sustainability & Peace. I’ve been interested in these topics for a long time.
I’m also a musician, I played in different bands from I was 15-25 years and in parts of this period, I also did some acting and was the PR manager in a Student theatre. In the last years, I’ve rediscovered the importance of playing music, for myself, with others, and for others (performing).
I call my approach Human-oriented, practical but philosophical - Human-oriented because we need to recognise that we are humans who try, manage, and excel but also fail and meet challenges - practical because I use and evolve commonly used tools of the trade, but philosophical because I believe in challenging common beliefs and prejudice. In my opinion, this approach is especially relevant in these interesting times with exponential developments and Artificial Intelligence
