How to Get Started with Social Technologies

Here are some steps you can take to implement Social Technologies into your ExO:

• Employee input. Let your employees vote on what aspects of their interactions and collaborations they want to automate. This approach not only creates a sense of ownership and buy-in but also ensures that the technologies you implement are solving real problems that your team faces.

• Tool selection. Pick two tools and get started. It’s better to start with a few tools that your team can get comfortable with rather than overwhelming them with too many at once. Starting with a few tools also allows for easier troubleshooting and adjustments as your team adapts.

• Virtual reality. Join an emerging VR platform and watch the ecosystem evolve. This not only gives you firsthand experience with this cutting-edge technology but also provides insights into how it might one day be used within your own organization.
