ExOs and Governments

Since the launch of the ExO model in 2014, several dozen governments have used the book to organize their activities. Nishan Degnarain used the ExO model to organize the Ministry of Oceans in Mauritius. The City of Miami and Miami-Dade County have implemented the model in various ways. Medellín, Colombia, has actively deployed the ExO model in Ruta N, the city’s innovation arm. The Prime Minister of Thailand tagged his election campaign as “Exponential Thailand.” Lord Anthony St. John proclaimed on the floor of the UK House of Lords, “We should run the NHS on this [Exponential Organizations] book” while waving a copy. And the United Arab Emirates has essentially become an ExO country, with 10x targets for many of its government ministries. The third book in this series is planned as “ExOs for Government and Society.” Note that governments have a natural MTP of serving the citizenry.
