AI and Algorithms - Requirements and Prerequisites

• MTP. As with everything in an ExO, the use of Artificial Intelligence and Algorithms must be preceded by the creation and adoption of a company’s MTP. The MTP is crucial because it will guide, and keep within strategic guardrails, the implementation of these attributes and—more importantly—the results they generate. In particular, the MTP will determine which of those results are to be implemented and which are to be put aside.

• Data. Data is cleaned and labeled, allowing AIs to make greater sense of it.

• Leveraged assets. AI and Algorithms require extensive computation capabilities. Cloud computing is almost mandatory.

Dashboards are critical to track any AI-based experiments. Because AIs can run millions of experiments using both real and simulated data, the tracking of those experiments needs to operate at the same scale.
