Chapter 17 - Conclusion

Marco Vanossi is a Brazilian software developer who studied computer science at Unicamp. He proved to be a programming prodigy early in life: At just 15, Marco created Latin America’s first search engine.

In the years since, he has founded multiple start-up companies, almost all with their own MTP. “I’m passionate about pushing the limits of what can currently be done with state-of-the-art technology.” At the same time, he’s created hundreds of apps and recently settled into the Snapchat ecosystem. As of this writing, Marco is the leading Snapchat 3rd party developer in the world. His Snapchat lenses have been viewed more than 30 billion times.

In this book, we have given you all the tools you need to start and successfully run an Exponential Organization. But there is one thing we can’t give you: the key mindsets required for you to operate as an exponential entrepreneur. That is something you must generate and maintain within yourself.

Over the years, Peter has given a lot of thought to what constitutes the key ExO-related Mindset. He teaches these mindsets to his Abundance360 members and believes that in building an Exponential Organization, the right mindsets come before everything else—and it governs every step thereafter.

Peter asks the following question: What do you think made Elon Musk, Mahatma Gandhi, Jeff Bezos, Martin Luther King, Steve Jobs, Anousheh Ansari, or Martine Rothblatt so successful? 

Was it their technology, their wealth, or was it their Mindset? I think almost everyone would agree that the right mindset is the most critical asset for ANY entrepreneur or leader. Take away all of their wealth, their technology, and their relationships, but leave them their mindset, and chances are they would succeed again.

But why is Mindset so important, especially during this era of global and rapid exponential change? Because your mindsets are the filter through which you see the world, they are the operating system of your brain. 

Your mindset(s) determine how you spend your time, who you spend your time with, the decisions you make, where you invest your resources, and your vision of what is even possible for you in the future.
