Lisa has many years of experience in Silicon Valley. She has worked in various industries from start-ups, Fortune 500 companies, non-profits, academic institutions, and public schools. Lisa’s Massive Transformative Purpose is leveraging innovation to promote equity so we can hear all voices.

Prior to OpenExO, Lisa ran Faculty Relations at Singularity University for almost five years. She was responsible for curating a bi-monthly newsletter, assisting with recruiting and onboarding faculty, and establishing their online presence.

Lisa taught leadership and journalism to high school students for over seven years. She also taught technology for teachers in a credential program. Before that, she worked at Stanford’s Center for Innovation and Learning department along with the MediaX Program. She earned a Master’s degree in Humanities along with a teaching credential and extensive coursework in Instructional Design. She’s an ASNE Donald W. Reynolds Institute Fellow. Lisa has studied and worked in Brazil, Portugal, and France and is fluent in Portuguese and has a working knowledge of French and Spanish. Lisa loves traveling and learning about new places, technologies, and people.
