How to Build Decision Architecture
- List every recurring decision type your team makes in a typical month
- Sort each one into “safe to move fast” or “hard to undo”
- Set clear guardrails so the fast-moving decisions can happen automatically or near-automatically
- Require a named human sign-off for anything in the hard-to-undo category
- Revisit the map regularly, as trust builds, some decisions can graduate from human-gated to fast-moving
